Project Overview

The LeBronJamesFamilyFoundation.org website objective was to be an online extension of the mission and core values of LJFF and of LeBron James himself.  Visitors can do more than just follow James philanthropic endeavors as he strives to create change, they can also connect with James on a whole new level.

The website was built to be a vehicle for LeBron to connect with the students that participate in one of LJFF’s pillar programs, “Wheels for Education”.  James plans to address the students through weekly updates that correlate to what they are learning in school at that time.

As the lead developer, I worked with hfa account managers, copywriters, art directors and project managers to develop a custom WordPress theme from graphic layouts. I also coordinated with the web host to handle surges in traffic and provided training and documentation for the client so they would feel confident in maintaining their site moving forward.
