Project Overview

Home buyers and sellers want to work with someone they can trust. Engaging and converting new customers online was a real challenge for Prudential Karam & Simon Realty, Inc. and their website had not been updated in more than 5 years, reflected poorly on their brand and was void of valuable information. 

As a freelance contractor, I transformed their static website into a fully content managed website, optimized their search engine rankings and integrated their MLS property listings so they could be displayed and searchable to potential buyers and sellers.

Services & Technologies

The end result was a high performing website with features such as: IDX (MLS) real estate listing integration, open house, slider gallery and lead generation forms. I also provided training sessions and ongoing technical support to their team so that they could confidently maintain their site moving forward.

So how do buyers and sellers follow up with a referral? Google search! SEO best practices were followed and implemented that resulted in significant organic traffic. Ranking well however, means nothing if people don’t actually click through to your site from the SERPs. That’s where Google Sitelinks come into play to boost higher Click Through Rates (CTR) and more traffic.

Google Sitelinks is a reputation enhancer, and also a way to control a greater area of the search results page. For these reasons Sitelinks are valuable.

Sitelinks are not shown for all websites. Google doesn’t say how to get Sitelinks and only advises webmasters to build sites with clear navigation and a well-planned hierarchy of pages.

Search engine optimization

Most importantly for agents and brokers, IDX is what enables members of a multiple listing service (MLS) to integrate real estate listings from the MLS database into their own websites.

Having incorporated property listings into their website via IDX, Prudential Karam & Simon gained an advantage to agents who didn’t display listings and can attract more buyers.
